FCE Oyo (Special) Post-UTME 2025: Cut-off mark, eligibility and Registration Details

Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo is the only College of Special Education in Sub-Sahara West Africa established in October, 1977 to train teachers and other para-professionals in Special Education for the people with special needs. The College, being the only one in the country, has an admission policy that takes the entire nation as its catchment area and this allows a wider mix in student population that cannot be found in other Colleges

The Screening Exercise for the 2025/2026 Admission into the Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo will hold on Thursday, 25th September, 2025. Candidates are therefore requested to note the following guidelines:

A. PROGRAMME AVAILABLE

1. Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)

B. ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PROGRAMMES

NCE PROGRAMME

  • Candidate(s) who made the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo as their first institution of choice during the 2025 UTME and who scored 100 and above.
  • Candidates who did not choose the College initially but scored 100 and above are also eligible to apply after effecting a change of institution to the College and making the College the first choice.
  • Candidates must be at least 16 year old by 30th September, 2025 to be eligible for admission.

METHODS OF APPLICATION

1) Proceed to log on to http://www.nce.fcesoyo.edu.ng to make payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the purpose of online registration for Post-UTME screening at any Commercial Bank/Online through Remita Platform;

2) Carefully complete and submit the online application form;

3) Upload digital copies of scanned O’level result(s) and passport photograph with white background not more than 100kb which must be in JPEG or JPG with no eye glasses or veil and,

4) Print out the Online Application Form to ascertain successful registration.

D. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

1. Candidate will be expected to complete the admission screening form online starting from Monday, 4th August, 2025.

2 copies of UTME e-notification of results slip.

3. Original and photocopy of the online completed admission screening application form.

4. SSCE/GCE O’ Level (WAEC/NECO), (NABTEB for Vocational & Technical Education Courses, Adult and Non-Formal Education, English Language, Integrated Science and Physics only) results or its equivalent.

5. Change of Institution print out slip by candidates who did not choose the College originally as institution of first choice.

6. Candidates are to upload their SSCE/GCE O’ Level (WAEC/NECO), NABTEB results into their JAMB Profile at any accredited CBT Centre nationwide.

7. Candidates awaiting results (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) may apply but must upload their results to JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) by 24th September, 2025.

E. SUBMISSION OF FORMS ON-LINE

  • Candidates are to please note that deadline for submission of the application for the admission screening on the College website is Wednesday, 24th September, 2025. Time: 4:00 pm.

F. TIME OF COMMENCEMENT OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE:

Time: 9.00 am prompt

Note: There will be a grace period of three (3) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by the candidates. Otherwise, such admission will be deleted, and the candidate placed under the ‘refusal to accept category punishable by ineligibility to be admitted for the admission year.
