GOMSU Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into the various degree programmes of Gombe State University for the 2025/2026 academic session that there shall be an online registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise from Monday, 1st to Friday, 19th September, 2025, for candidates who made the university their first choice institution on the JAMB portal and:

a) Scored a minimum of 150 points in the UTME

b) Scored a minimum of 180 points in the UTME for Computer Science, Physiology, Anatomy, Pharmacology, Human Nutrition and Dietetics

c) Scored a minimum of 190 points in the UTME for Public Health

d) Scored a minimum of 200 points in the UTME for Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Law programmes

Also, candidates interested in the new faculties — the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and the Faculty of Agriculture — can change to the new programmes as follows:

Faculty of Agriculture:

1) BA Agriculture

2) BSc Fisheries and Aquaculture

3) BSc Forestry Resource and Wildlife Management

4) BSc Animal Science

5) BSc Soil Science

6) BSc Agricultural Economics

7) BSc Agricultural Extension

8) BSc Crop Science

9) BSc Horticultural and Landscape Management

Faculty of Environmental Sciences:

1) BSc Architecture

2) BSc Building

3) BSc Estate Management

4) BSc Quantity Surveyor

NCE/IJMB/Advanced Level GCE/Diploma for Direct Entry:

Please note that the NCE, IJMB, Advanced Level GCE or Diploma must be in the same course being applied for. Eligible candidates shall pay a non-refundable screening charge of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only through the university’s online screening portal.

Candidates shall visit the university portal at: http://gsu-edu.com/admission to register for the online screening exercise as follows:

1. Enter JAMB Registration Number and click ‘Get Details’

2. Pay the screening fee online using ATM/Debit/Credit Card, Bank, Transfer, USSD or Visa QR

3. Fill the form to create UTME/DE screening account

4. Click register

5. Candidate’s details captured shall be displayed

6. Click ‘Generate Data Form’

7. A PDF file of two pages shall be generated:

– Page 1 captures the candidate’s registration details

– Page 2 contains the Post-UTME Test (CBT) Exam Card

Print the two pages and attach photocopies of credentials to page 1, then bring them along with the original credentials for the physical screening exercise.

Note: Change of state of origin LGA and date of birth shall not be entertained after registration and screening.
