Applications are invited from qualified individuals for admission into the B.Sc. Business Administration programme, which will be offered by the Open and Distance Learning & Research Institute (ODLRI) of Lagos State University for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
The Institute was established by the Senate and Council of Lagos State University and approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to cater for those who are eager for higher education but have been unable to access it, either due to time constraints or inability to secure admission into regular higher institution programmes, owing to overpopulation and limited admission spaces. The Institute is unique, with a special focus on research, and aims to produce world-class graduates with 21st-century skills who can contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of society.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS/ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The following individuals are eligible to apply:
Holders of WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level) or equivalent qualifications with credits in five (5) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, and any three (3) relevant subjects from Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Government, Geography, and Business Studies.
CATEGORY OF APPLICANTS
The programme is suitable for adults who could not gain admission through the conventional university system, working-class individuals seeking a university degree, and others interested in acquiring entrepreneurial skills.
AGE ELIGIBILITY
Applicants under 16 years of age at the point of entry are not eligible.
DURATION
The programme is designed to run for four (4) years, similar to the conventional programme, with standard academic and research activities.
MODE OF TEACHING AND LEARNING
All academic activities will be delivered through blended learning, using a prompt and efficient delivery system.
KNOWLEDGE
ICT proficiency is required.

ii. Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
iii. Only certificates, not statement of result slips, are acceptable for WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO results obtained before 2010.
iv. All application forms must be completed and submitted online on or before Sunday, 30th November 2025.
