The Muslim Scholarship Fund in Nigeria (MSFN) supports education for Muslim students facing financial challenges.
This programme is open to undergraduates and secondary school students from Southwestern states, including Edo, Kwara, and Kogi.
Applications begin on 6 January 2025 and end on 19 January 2025.
Eligibility
General Requirements
Applicants must meet these criteria:
- Be a practising Muslim.
- Participate actively in an Islamic organisation, such as MSS, MSA, a local mosque, or a dawah group.
- Be from a low-income family.
Undergraduate Applicants
- Be enrolled in a college of education, polytechnic, or university.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0, 3.0/5.0, 4.2/7.0, or 60% for non-GPA systems.
- Attach the first semester result with the application.
Secondary School Applicants
- Be in SS2 (Senior Secondary 2).
- Have a credit pass in five subjects, including English and Mathematics.
Selection Process
Applications will undergo a review process.
Shortlisted candidates will attend a face-to-face interview.
Only successful candidates will be notified.
Students already receiving this scholarship do not need to reapply.
Zones
The scholarship zones are based on the applicant’s state of origin:
- Lagos/Ogun.
- Oyo/Osun.
- Kwara/Kogi.
- Ondo/Ekiti/Edo.

- Fill out the application form and attach the required documents.
- Submit the completed application before 19 January 2025.
