The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has announced the official opening of its Hostel Allocation Portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to an internal memorandum from the Student Affairs Division, dated October 17, 2025, and signed by Offonmbuk M. Ekwere, Principal Assistant Registrar (Accommodation Officer), the hostel allocation portal will open officially on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The notice, addressed to the Dean of Students, outlined the approved procedures for hostel application as follows:
1. Visit the official hostel portal at www.uniuyohostels.com
2. Click on “Register” and provide the required details to create a hostel account (ensure your image is properly captured).
3. On your dashboard, select “Apply for Hostel” and choose your preferred hostel category — Regular (all halls except NEEDS Hall I and New NDDC) or Executive (NEEDS Hall I, New NDDC, and NDDC Medical Hostel).
4. Once allocated, applicants will receive an email notification. They are to proceed with payment for the allocated bed space and report to the hostel for documentation.

The University urges all students to adhere to the outlined procedures and apply early, as allocation will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
