Spherion Staffing is hiring a technical Assistant Project Manager for a warehouse supply company in Wichita Falls, TX! Work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, pay starts at $20/hr, depending on experience. In this fast-paced role, the APM will serve as a key operational engine for company projects-managing data entry, coordinating construction schedules, and maintaining smooth communication between contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
- Project Flow and Operations: Track active jobs, anticipate delays, and ensure every phase of a project moves forward without bottlenecking.

- Contractor Outreach and Scheduling: Proactively contact general contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to gather timelines, load schedules, and confirm deliveries.

- Data Entry and Spreadsheet Management: Maintain clean, accurate databases and job-tracking spreadsheets; update project details, change orders, and material schedules daily.

- Communication Hub: Handle high-volume incoming phone calls, address contractor requests, relay critical updates, and resolve routine schedule conflicts.

- High Stress Problem Solving: Prioritize competing tasks effectively, maintain composure, and deliver prompt solutions in high-pressure construction situations.

- Administrative Support: Assist Project Managers with project documentation, submittals, material ordering, and status reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Construction, building supplies, or logistics background required.
• Proven work experience in office administration and/or an assistant project management role.
• Experience in scheduling and coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (data entry, basic formulas, organizing large datasets) and project scheduling software.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, proactive, and resilient under pressure.
