About the Role:
SCI Millwork, LLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in East Orange, NJ. Responsibilities:
Fabricate custom cabinets and millwork to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical plans
Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, and planers
Perform precise measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining of wood and wood composite materials
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Collaborate with project managers and fellow craftsmen to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Finish Carpenter, or Millwork Specialist
Proficiency with hand tools and power woodworking machinery
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical shop drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
Knowledge of wood species, composites, laminates, and finishing techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment
Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
