Apex has an opportunity for a Software Developer role. This is a 1+ contract to hire position and the $$$ is flexible depending on experience. Here are the details:
Position: Software Developer Location: Remote
• Be an active participant on an agile development team building a web application that is transforming how we approach testing our plans and benefits of major customers before they are released to the mass-populous
• Develop dynamic and visually appealing UI components to be incorporated into the grander Test Orchestration Tool
• Collaborate directly with program leadership on potential features and functionalities to be incorporated into the Test Orchestration Tool
• Leverage opportunities to learn, research, and introduce new modern frameworks and libraries
• Engage external organizations on how the Test Orchestration Tool can assist with their testing
• Participate in ideation of modern technology use cases to help our 1-1 readiness partners better serve our customers
• Collaborate with other scrum teams to build cohesive and optimal solutions
• Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ensuring code standards and code quality and security are met
• 2+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ years of experience in Java or Python
• 1+ years of experience with Relational Databases
• 2+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Object oriented design
• Familiarity with ReactJS, NodeJS/Express, MySQL Server.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Exposure to UI/UX Design concepts.
• Familiarity with Microservices concepts.
• Familiarity with Web Portal Testing Frameworks (Jest, Cypress)
• 2+ years of professional industry experience
• Experience with Java and/or Python
• 2+ years of experience w/ JavaScript
• Experience with front end tools such as REACTJS or NodeJS
