Job Description Job Title: Lab & Field Technician About Us: EEDAS PLLC is a leading engineering consulting firm dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients. We specialize in delivering high-quality engineering services across various sectors, including renewable energy, industrial, and commercial projects and delivered more than 100 projects in 17 states . Position Overview: We are seeking laboratory and field technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong motivation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary projects. Will be working in a soils and concrete testing EEDAS laboratory and at various field across the different states when necessary. Performs basic laboratory testing including but not limited to organic content, grain size analysis, compaction, processing of material, and compression testing of concrete specimens. Field work includes but is not limited to soils and concrete sampling, nuclear density gauge testing, field inspection, and miscellaneous construction activities. Oversee fieldwork, including soil sampling, testing, and site inspections. Assist laboratory testing and equipment setup in EEDAS lab. Minimum High School Diploma. NCDOT/ACI laboratory testing certifications a plus Training will be provided. The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed The ability to travel and work at remote sites as needed Flexible work schedule and supportive work environment.
