1st and 2nd Shift Packager START ASAP

$19-20/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble crates, pallets, skids, and shipping containers.
• Package finished aluminum products to prevent damage during transit.
• Wrap, cushion, band, and secure products for shipment.
• Bolt or anchor large/heavy products to skids and bases.
• Build custom packaging for oversized items.
• Verify quantities and match products to shipping documentation.
• Label, stack, and move completed shipments using pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
• Maintain packaging supplies and support general production activities.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable with packaging, palletizing, stacking, and labeling products.
• Ability to use hand tools and assemble crates/pallets.
• Strong attention to detail for shipping accuracy.
• Willingness to learn packaging, shipping, and material handling processes.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous packaging, warehouse, production, or general labor experience.
• Forklift exposure or willingness to learn.
• Experience with pallet jacks, banding, palletizing, and material handling equipment.
• Basic shipping/receiving knowledge.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and packaging facility handling finished aluminum products.
• Industrial environment that may be dirty, loud, and physically demanding.
• Regular work around packaging lines, pallets, crates, and material handling equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

The pay range for this position is $19.33 - $19.33/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
