Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Recent acute care hospital experience required; 2 years of emergency department experience required License: Oregon nursing license required; must be willing to obtain if not currently active Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS required; must be willing to obtain if not currently active Must-Have: Recent acute care hospital experience, 2 years of emergency department experience, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS Description: Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the state board of nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Teaches patients and significant others. Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
